The event’s - Name: International Air and Military Show - Date: 16th-17th August 2008. - Location: MH 59. Szentgyörgyi Dezső Air Base (Kecskemét, Air Base) - Opening: 0730 - Closing time: 1800 The programs are identical on both days.
Tickets: Tickets for the International Air and Military Show 2007 areavailable from the 2nd June 2008 onwards. They may been obtained
1. in post offices and everywhere, where lottery tickets aresold. 2. in every Ticketpro office.
The tickets’ prices haven’t changed compared to 2005 and2007. If purchased in advance sale, i.e. before the 15th August 0:00 they cost
1. 3500 HUF (adults) 2. 1500 HUF for children under 14 (There is no age limit, since only those are entitled tolife and casualty insurance who do have a valid ticket (or invitation). Fortheir own and their children’s safety the organizers expect everybody to buy aticket.)
Just as last year the tickets’ material and form isidentical to the form and material of lottery tickets, since the terminal normally printing the lottery ticket is also used to print the air show’stickets. The salesperson will put your ticket together with a brochure containing useful information in a small bag.
Tickets purchased in advance in any Ticketpro Kft. ticketoffice are printed according to the office’s printing procedure and put togetherwith a brochure containing useful information in a small bag.
Those, who could not purchase their ticket in advance, may obtain it on both days at the entrance and also everywhere, where lottery tickets are sold. However the admission fee increases to 4000 HUF and 2000 HUF respectively.
Tickets purchased at the entrance and everywhere else are identical with those sold in advance. The only difference is the price printed on them. These tickets are also put in a small bag together with the brochure. The ticket contains the price of the parking ticket, the fare by bus from and to the parking lots and the insurance.
Important information concerning the ticket:
1) Please do not consider the date field of the air show ticket. It entitles the owner to enter the air show on either Saturday or Sunday. If you want to enter both days, you have to buy two tickets. 2) Please ignore needless questions asked by less prepared sales persons concerning which date the ticket should be issued for. Just buy the ticket and proceed according to the guidelines described in the paragraph above.
Arrival: As of previous year’s experience the organizers encourage everyone to use means of public transportation for their arrival. Please watch for traffic and information signs and please use the beltways should you arrive by car.
According to current plans the local public transportation company will operate a shuttle service between the railway station and coach terminal and the air base. The fee of this service is NOT included in your ticket. The regular bus service to the airbase will have additional buses inservice.
Those, who arrive by car, have to face detours and roadblocks in and around Kecskemét. From the morning hours on the organizers will monitor the traffic (also from the air), actual traffic reports are available on Gong Radio, FM 96.5 MHz.
Those arriving on the M5 motorway should exit at the 90th km, at Kecskemét-Dél (Kecskemét-South) and enter the parking lot along road 54. You’ll be transported by our bus service to the air base and also back to the parking lot. Those arriving on road 44 will find their parking lot close to the air base; however our bus service will take you to the entrance and also back to the parking lot.
Buses will only leave the terminal stops (air base and both parking lots) if they are either full or are instructed by dispatchers. Buses of this service will have clearly visible markings on them, please remember these markings, otherwise you may find yourself on the false parking lot at the end of the day. By remembering the markings you should have an easy ride back to your car.
Those arriving from Cegléd on road 441 will find their parking lot at the northern fence of the Air Base, from where they have to walk to the entrance.
Those arriving on road 5 and 52 should watch for traffic signs showing the way to the nearest parking lot and if possible also follow them.

Parking:
The organizers are paying close attention to ensure good parking conditions for those arriving by car. About 65-70 hectare agricultural fields have been hired and are being transformed to accommodate cars helping this way to relieve the city’s roads.
As always the tickets do contain the parking fees and the fare for the shuttle service from the outlying parking lots.
After last year’s event we have received complains that some visitors had to pay for parking.
Please note that your ticket only permits free of charge parking on those parking lots, which are operated by the organizers. These parking lots are well marked. Other parking possibilities, where you are charged are not operated by the organizers of the air show; therefore the organizers are not to be held responsible in any way.
Please do not leave any valuables in your car. The organizers are not responsible for any lost valuables or for the cars left behind in the parking lots.
Entering the event:
There are 6 gates and 4 checkpoints to enter. The tickets are punched at the checkpoints. At the same time you’ll receive a wristband, which has to be worn during the whole day until you leave the event. Security personal is entitled to check these bands.
The wristband is only valid for one day, just as the ticket. Each day will have its corresponding color. Due to tight security regulations two additional checkpoints will be installed this year, where you’ll be asked to show your wristband.
Insurance:
Those, who purchased a ticket moreover the participants, VIP guests and the staff is covered by insurance.
The ticket’s price includes the insurance. You may get further information about the conditions in thee vent booth (in Sector “B”) of the insurance company at the air show. Your ticket is also your insurance policy. Please keep your ticket, since the insurance company only recognizes those as legitimate customers, who can present their ticket.
Safety instructions:
By purchasing the ticket you accept the event’s safety instructions and also acknowledge that you are to follow them. The ticket and the wristband together entitle the owner of visiting the air show. Both have to be showed, when asked for by the organizers. You have to wear the wristband during the whole day until you leave. In absence of either the band or the ticket you loose your right of visiting the air show and may be asked to leave.
The ticket and the wristband are not transferable. The wristband has to be worn on the wrist. Damaged, glued or cut wristbands are not valid just as those, which diameter is wider, than the owner’s wrist. Damaged or lost wristbands will not be replaced. Persons without a wristband have toleave. They may return after they have purchased a ticket.
Counterfeiters and accomplices will have to face legal consequences.
Admission is denied if a visitor tries to enter with weapons, ammunition, radiating or explosive materials, fireworks, drugs, or anything that could endanger public or aviation safety. Scandalous behavior or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will lead to immediate expulsion. Entering the event while being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden even if a valid ticket is present.
Video surveillance will operate during the event. Pets are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages are also forbidden no matter of the packaging. Soft drinks are allowed, but only in their original plastic bottles.
Please do not leave your package unattended. If you spot an abandoned package or anything that could endanger public safety please contact the nearest organizer or dial the following number: +36-80-949-555 (FREE OF CHARGE).
Please pay attention to the announcements made on the address system; please follow the organizers’ requests. Visitors are asked to stay within the area marked by bars.
Visitors are only allowed to make recordings of the displayed equipments and of the places opened to the general public. Everyone is free to make audio and video recordings of the event; however the sale of video material (video, DVD, etc.) about the event is the sole right of the organizers.
Recordings of technical equipment, buildings etc, which are not open to the general public, are not allowed. These recordings may be confiscated. Persons violating these instructions will be asked by the organizers or by the police to leave. These instructions are also included in the brochure received during the purchase of the ticket. You also receive this brochure while passing the checkpoints.
Advices for parents:
Parents bringing their children to the event should write their mobile number on the children’s wristband or put a note containing their number in one of the children’s pocket. Finding your "lost" child is definitely easier this way. "Lost" children will be brought to sector"B". They will be taken care there until their parents arrive.
